Face-to-face Visit by Cleveland Police Department

A gentlemen knocked on my door and indicated that he was from the Cleveland Police Department.

He did tell me his name, but showed no identification, and I don’t remember what he said. It is my assumption, considering the card that was previously left, that it was Detective Daniel Gibbs.

He was in an unmarked black vehicle and parked in the middle of the parking lot in front of my room.

He told me that he was contacted by Detective Blake at the Davidson County Sheriff's office in North Carolina.

He stated that I am to cease contacting my wife and members of the Church in North Carolina. My assumption is Meadowview Presbyterian Church.

I asked by what authority he was making his statement and for something in writing. He simply directed me to call North Carolina, which I subsequently did.

I offered my hand, which he took for a handshake. We concluded cordially.
