The Acts 9:31 can be translated “The assemblies then throughout the whole” and you have to read into the text the institution.

Matthew 16:18 can also be read as “assembly” which would be consisted with Jesus speaking of the Elect or the Bride of Christ, which I contend is the meaning and not an institution.

In Matthew 16:19 Jesus speaks of the kingdom of heaven, which is again consistent with John 18:36 “My kingdom is not of this world”. He was not referring to a worldly kingdom.

You are right that a kingdom and government are institutions, but remember asking for a king is rejecting the Lord (1Samuel8). There is no call by the Lord to setup a kingdom or any institution.

The Lord I serve has the power to deliver to man His word via His means and not use an institution, which is what did occur. The institution simply acknowledges what the Lord made clear, but does not define it.

You continually slam protestant cults, and I am with you on that. But not all cults are protestant. I think you know what I mean.

Have a good night.
