If you want an example of what it is for a flawed man to seek a reconciled family, it is set before you.

This is a growing part of a 10 year long effort in recovery.

Until my last breath, I will not give up!

This postcard effort started in late April of 2021. One card a day is sent out to family, extended family, and institutional church leadership. Some cards are passed into the hands of others directly and there are two in a glass jar at the top of Big Frog Mountain. After over 400 cards, the response has been silence.

July 12, 2022 is the 10th anniversary of my wife abandoning our marriage.

As of July 12, 2022 my youngest son is 10. I have never celebrated a birthday with him. We have never talked face-to-face.

NO! I will not give up on the pursuit of reconciliation with my wife, my kids, my in-laws, and institutional church leadership. Consider reading the words my eldest daughter wrote and asked me to do the voiceover in “Keeping the Promise”. I’m still living them. When my Lord states that He will never leave me or forsake me, He then commands me to never leave or forsake my wife. In the grace of God, I am “Keeping the Promise!”
