George, Yesterday, as Chris was driving to my home he called me to let me know he was on his way and we were going to Buzzard Point again. I then sent you an email before he arrived to let you know and to keep the invitation open to you. Post our hike, you were sent another email with some photos of our hike. The photos are now online and it includes the video of me doing jumping jacks at the top of Buzzard Point and only a few feet from a 120 foot vertical drop with a lot of rock. This is not the first place most think of to do jumping jacks. But there are two points in doing that. First is that is shows that I am living my commitment to strive to live to be 90 as I promised my wife. Look at the pictures of me. I am a whole lot more healthy than when I was in my 40s. Second, listen to the most important part of the video. I state at the beginning that I was at Buzzard Point, but then the only other thing I said at the end was “Dorothy-Jane, I love you!” My commitment to my wife, your mom, remains intact. It is a model I hope you and your brothers live. I love you George! |
