“Computer”

The “Computer” is the logical representation of the physical computer.

This can be a physical computer or a virtual machine on a physical computer.

A computer can contain one or more Sites. One of the Sites defines the operation of the computer and is called the Helm.

Computer management tools can be access from any site, assuming the user is authorized, at the site’s “/_Computer” path.

“Site”

A “Site” is the contain for all data and defined by a domain name.

One or more sites exist on a computer.

Examples domains are: “Localhost”, “Base.Shofar” or “ShofarNexus.com”.

A site is contained in a single folder or package at “/Shofar/Site”.

Site management tools can be accessed from the site itself at the “/_Site” path.

“Helm”

The “Helm” is the site that is the authority for the computer.

There is only one helm site. If not configured, the default is “Localhost”.

The selection of which site is the helm is in the “Computer_Helm.Shofar” file located in the “/Shofar” folder.

A helm selection tool is at the “/_Computer,Helm” path.

Helm management tools can be accessed from any site, assuming the user is authorized, at the ““/_Computer,Helm” path.
