FW: Questions post as dialog in the market place - Peerless Road Farmers' Market - Your e-mail

Greetings Tom,

Thank you for the willingness to respond. It is appreciated.

I appreciate your statement that the gentlemen in question are dedicated to learning the truth, and hope we would agree that we are not the truth, but the Lord Jesus Christ is the embodiment of truth (John 14:6), and by definition not hidden. The truth can take on any challenge and does not need to walk away from such. It concerns me that these gentlemen gave a hint of our current culture in that they needed to be protected. I would consider 1st Corinthians 16:13-14.

You state that you stand between Christianity and Judaism, but assumedly use the Bible as your reference. I will take my stand that the Bible is God breathed and Jesus is the Creator who stepped into His creation to have fellowship with His elect. My guess is your reference to Revelation implies that you feel you are “the remnant” and seem to have a particular role to live out. Perhaps we agree the call to endure as seen in the referenced verses plus places like Matthew 24:13 is the common call or perhaps plight of the elect, especially noting in the verse before “the love of many shall become cold.” What occurred in my dialog with the gentlemen in question was an act of love.

Love is seen in investing the time it takes with the people who are in front of you willing to dialog with you, rather than not having time for them. The idea that someone has “neither time nor inclination to engage in "dialog"” seems to be opposite to the model of Christ.

It is interesting that you have “no doubt” without being there and assume the Titus and Timothy passages are relevant. There were no foolish or moronic questions in our dialog, no discussion about linage, such as a claim of being a descendant of Levi, no stupid or uneducated questions, but rather clearly articulated inquiries, nor any seeking of strife but rather examining the Scripture to see if these things are so, as I assume you would embrace Acts 17:11.

As previously stated I have watched several of your videos, and found issues. So I have questions. You might be familiar with the “earnestly contend” concept from Jude. However, it requires both parties to be involved, or by definition in dialog, which you are specifically stating you have no time for.

It is also worth noting that what I thought would have been an easy question on the definite article in John 14:6 was simply ignored. The other more difficult things were also ignored, but that would be consistent with not defending the faith, which brings us back to Jude.

I too have made numerous videos, such as “The Bible is true and the institutional church is a fraud” (http://kozlowski.org/2021-04-25+1), but my guess is that exchanging these references will not result in dialog, will they?

In the 1980s I studied the People Temple in California, how they grew and their ultimate demise. I also studied a bit on the Moonies who have grown to have a great presence in Japan, including in the halls of power. I have also examined the similarities with the Roman Catholic Church, and Zionism. A common thread is they can’t be questioned. This is a serious concern as I have questions. Perhaps you get my point.

Since I am a follower of Christ, am ready to give an answer for the hope that is within me, and willing to engage in dialog, I will set this case before you. We are unambiguously called to love our neighbor in Leviticus 19:18. The verse before that is very relevant. You will find that I often use the example of the Apostle Paul calling out the Apostle Peter in Galatians 2 and the result in 2nd Peter 3 of Peter calling Paul “our beloved brother”. This is my model and my objective. With Paul’s model of “before them all” in mind, this response is public and dialog with any is welcome.
