This is one of the most interesting photos of my family. The actual time of this photo is uncertain. From the left is my grandfather Josef, my mom Erika, my grandmother Martha. The others I am not sure of. The photo on the wall on the right is of my mom when she was about 10. The photo on the wall above my mom’s head draped with a flower is Adolph Hitler. What lingers in my mind is if this was necessity or out of desire. My guess is necessity as it was not discussed when I was growing up, but I do not know. |
