As I was considering you last night with the plan on sending you a card, my repeated refrain came to mind: “Be a man, not a wimp!”
This can be clearly seen in 1st Corinthians 16 as I quote often:
13Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. 14Let all that you do be done in love.
I did go into some depth on this from the Bible with my video “Foundation ● Andrizomai ► Be strong and courageous”
To be clear, it is obvious that verse 14, “Let all that you do be done in love”, is simply not lived out by those who are physically around you since in obedience to Christ, such as Matthew 5:24, love would respond to a man who is trying to reconcile with you. There is no love demonstrated by the men around you. They do not act like men as the Lord commands.
Zadok, don’t follow that model. Follow the model of Christ, who give Himself up to reconcile with those He loves. Zadok, no matter if we ever see each other again, love well.
