We had a joyful 11 mile hike Saturday on the Eureka Trail in Athens, Tennessee. It was hot so afterward I downed the bottle of water I had. We went to a restaurant to have a meal and I got another bottle of water, but it was Deer Park. I simply could not drink it, even though I was more than thirsty. I have made a commitment that I would never again knowingly buy a product from Nestles as they are probably the largest user of abject slave labor in the world. Then this thirsty guy had a bottle in front of him that most would simply drink without a second thought. I couldn’t. This is the idea of practicing what you preach. I know that model is ignored in the institutional church. I made this clear with the video: “Foundation ● Andrapodistēs ● Enslaver”. While I sat at the outside table at the restaurant what was vivid in my mind and penetrating my heart was the photo of the little girl that I have used repeatedly and at the end of that video. NO! I will not drink Deer Park water. |
