One of the greatest moments of my life was on June 15, 1989 when a teenage girl agreed to share a meal with me at Asahi Restaurant in Greensboro, NC. I was already convinced that she would be my wife, but I had to first ask her out, and I was not seasoned at that. To my great joy, she did share the meal with this clumsy guy and did indeed become my wife and mom to the nine kids we have walking the earth. 33 years later I still love that lady with all my heart. I made a promise to her to be one with her all the remaining days of my life. My promise remains without turning. Dorothy-Jane, you promised too. |
