Western journalists prosecuted for challenging Ukraine dogma

You may or may not be familiar with Gonzalo Lira who is a US citizen and has been living in Ukraine for many years. His YouTube channel gets 50K+ views for his videos until he was arrested in May by the Security Service of Ukraine. He was released in July and in the last few days attempting to escape the country as he fears he will otherwise end up in prison for the rest of his life. Statements like “Zelensky’s Ukraine is no democracy—it is a thieving, corrupt, murderous gangster regime PRETENDING to be a polite “western” democracy” do not go over well. It does appear that his list of 25 tweets have been scrubbed from the Twitter (https://twitter.com/GonzaloLira1968), but be of good cheer, I have them.
I have made attempts with several in Ukraine and some who are culturally Ukrainian and Russian face-to-face to protect them and facilitate reconciliation with ShofarLeaks. Most cases have been less than effective. But as good American citizens we all know Zelensky is good, Putin is bad, and we need to send more money to Blackrock.
There are similarities to Shireen Abu Akleh, a Christian American reporter killed by the IDF. The techniques used to demonstrate that it was a targeted assignation are the same used to show the Maidan Revolution used similar targeted killings. But as good American citizens we all know to genuflect before the ADL.
In both cases appeals were made for help to the US Government by US citizens. It was less than effective. Perhaps we should not put our hopes in the state, but do what we can to “offer a fighting chance for some”. I wonder if there is anyone working on that? (http://ShofarLeaks.com) But as good American citizens we all know we can trust our government!
While there is some satire in this email, please keep in mind this is serious. If you happen to be a follower of Christ, may I suggest follow Christ. Know that it will cost you dearly. Are you willing to place your trust in the Lord and be obedient to Him, or do you place the state as your highest authority? Not being in lockstep with the state’s decrees can be very hard as seen with Gonzalo Lira, Shireen Abu Akleh, and me.
