“You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their mighty ones dominate them. It shall not be so among you; but whoever wants to be great among you, let him be your servant.” (Matthew 20:25,26)
The various offices in the church do not establish the dominion of one over the others, but the exercise of the ministry entrusted to and commanded to whole congregation.
We reject the false doctrine! As if the church, apart from this ministry, can and may be permitted to give itself, or allow to be given to it, special leaders with ruling powers.
1Co 4:10 We are fools for Christ's sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are held in honor, but we in disrepute. To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless, and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when slandered, we entreat. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things.
